Echotek Series ECDR-2414-4814 and 2414-DL1 24-48-Channel Digital Downconverters
The EchotekTM Series ECDR-2414/4814 and 2414-DL1 24/48-channel digital receiver with integrated analog input from combines high-speed and high-resolution analog-to-digital conversion with digital receiver processing suitable for wideband and narrowband downconversion and filtering in a single-slot VME board. The board comes in a choice of either 24 channels, 48 channels (board plus mezzanine), or 24 channels with delayed memory.

- 2/4 analog input channels using Analog Devices AD6644 A/D converters with SFDR >90 dB
- 24/48 receiver channels operating at 70 MSPS using Graychip GC4016 quad digital down converter chips
- One/two onboard command processor(s) (C6211) for programming and control of the receiver channels, AGC logic, formatting data headers, and delay memory
- Single/dual RACE++® interface(s) with auto-DMA capability
- Second RACE++ interface for A/D or single wideband receiver data
- Echotek RACElink++ master/slave with up to 32 DMA channels per RACE++ interface
- Six/twelve complex FIR equalization filters process 80 million complex taps/sec each
- 16K x 32 FIFO memory for each receiver channel; other depths available
- Synchronization, timestamp, and header support for beamforming/DF applications
