Ensemble™ OpenVPX solutions from Mercury are scalable for high-density, high-performance computing, especially suitable for sensor network architecture and smart processing applications with space, weight, and power (SWaP) limitations.


Complying with the VITA 46/48 VPX-REDI standards, Ensemble OpenVPX products are fully capable of deployment in harsh environments, including:


  • Extreme ranges of temperature and humidity
  • High levels of shock and vibration
  • Poor air quality

These OpenVPX products leverage the system-level architecture and software capabilities found throughout the Ensemble product lines. This commonality allows you to protect and extend your investment through easy migration of your applications.


With a rich set of fully compatible modules that can be scaled and combined in a variety of configurations, Ensemble 6000 and Ensemble 3000 solutions combine modules supporting multiple functions, including single-board computers (SBCs), switch and I/O modules, and high compute density (HCD) boards. All modules are compatible with OpenVPX system architecture design principles, and are available in air-cooled, conduction-cooled, and spray-cooled formats.
