Mercury multicomputers deliver the signal processing support for ground mobile radar systems, such as Commander
and ASPARCS, and also for the Jindalee over the horizon radar system. For the harsh environments often encountered by ground-based applications, customers can configure systems using our ruggedized and conduction cooled modules, such as the MYRIAD-4130 VME64 Host and Carrier or the Conduction-Cooled 800 MHz 7447A Multicomputer.
Modules provided by Mercury are all COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) products. Our adaptable boards can be configured in multiple combinations, scaling up to dozens of processors and hundreds of GFLOPs. Mercury software
complements our board and system offerings with a rich cross section of algorithm and data movement libraries, advanced development tools, operating systems, and system diagnostics.
Mercury’s flexible multicomputers are used to support the radar processing modes employed by ground-based systems, including inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR), airborne moving target indicator (AMTI), and passive radar.
