Mark Aslett    

MARK ASLETT

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark Aslett is Mercury's President and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of its Board of Directors. He brings in-depth experience that spans the technology industry, across a variety of markets that include telecommunications, data networking, security, defense, and life sciences. Within these areas, Mr. Aslett has held strategic-level positions in or has been responsible for engineering, operations, marketing, business development, portfolio management, and general executive management.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Aslett was president and chief executive officer of Enterasys, and held various positions with Marconi plc and its affiliated companies, including executive vice president of Marketing, vice president of Portfolio Management for Marconi Capital, and president of Marconi Communications - North America. Mr. Aslett has also held positions at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, and other telecommunications-related technology firms. He started his career at British Telecommunications plc as a software engineer.

A native of the United Kingdom and a naturalized United States citizen, Mr. Aslett has an extensive background in global business.
Mr. Aslett has a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a First Honors bachelor’s degree in digital systems engineering.

Gerry M. Haines II 

GERALD M. HAINES, II

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Haines is responsible for Mercury’s corporate development activities, including M&A transactions. He also serves as the company’s chief legal officer and secretary, overseeing corporate governance, securities law, contracts, regulatory matters, intellectual property, employment law, and outside legal services.

Prior to joining Mercury, Mr. Haines was executive vice president and chief legal officer of Verenium Corporation, a publicly traded company engaged in the development and commercialization of cellulosic biofuels and high performance specialty enzymes, where he directed Verenium’s legal, intellectual property and regulatory affairs and played a key role in various corporate development and corporate finance activities.

Previously, Mr. Haines served as executive vice president of Strategic Affairs and chief legal officer of Enterasys Networks, Inc., a publicly traded network communications company, and senior vice president and general counsel of Cabletron Systems, Inc., the predecessor of Enterasys Networks. Before that he was vice president and general counsel at Applied Extrusion Technologies, the largest manufacturer of polypropylene packaging films in North America, and worked at the Boston law firm of Choate, Hall and Stewart.
Mr. Haines holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Boston University, and a law degree from Cornell Law School.

Kevin Bisson 

KEVIN M. BISSON

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Mr. Bisson is responsible for the company's finance and treasury functions. He has specific expertise within the technology and telecommunications industries and extensive experience in global corporate finance and acquisitions.

Before joining Mercury, Mr. Bisson served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of SeaChange International, Inc., a publicly traded digital video systems provider. Previously he was employed by American Superconductor Corporation as their chief financial officer. He also served as vice president, controller and treasurer for Axcelis Technologies, Inc., a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer. Mr. Bisson earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College.

Didier M.C. Thibaud  

DIDIER M.C. THIBAUD

Senior Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Computing Solutions

Mr. Thibaud is senior vice president of Mercury's Advanced Computing Solutions (ACS) group, responsible for sales, product engineering, operations, and other general management duties since July 2007. ACS provides specialized, high-performance computing systems to top-tier OEMs in the semiconductor, communications, seismic, medical imaging and defense markets. In addition, Mr. Thibaud is the global European managing director and president of Mercury's French, UK, and Netherlands subsidiaries.

Prior to his position with ACS, Mr. Thibaud managed the company's Defense Business Unit, its Visualization Sciences Group, and its worldwide Imaging and Visualization Solutions (IVS) group. Before joining Mercury in 1995, Mr. Thibaud was technical director and account manager for Horizon Technologies, where he specialized in the development of European business for digital signal processing (DSP) products. Previously, at ONERA, the French National Research Center for Aerospace, Mr. Thibaud spent several years managing research and development of DSP applications in medical and defense electronics, and was the engineering manager for multiprocessor systems that were used for tracking and surveillance radar. Mr. Thibaud started his career with CHU Lille hospital's center for medical signal processing research.
Mr. Thibaud graduated from the Hautes Etudes Industrielles in Lille, France, with a degree in information technology. He also earned a D.E.A. (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) in signal and image processing.

Charles A. Speicher  

CHARLES A. SPEICHER

Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Speicher is the company’s vice president, controller and chief accounting officer, responsible for the Mercury's accounting, finance, and treasury functions.

Prior to assuming his position with Mercury, Mr. Speicher had been vice president of Business Operations and Enterprise Risk Management at Virtusa Corporation, a publicly-traded global IT services company, since December 2009. From September 2001 to December 2009, he was vice president of Global Accounting Operations and corporate controller at Virtusa Corporation. Mr. Speicher was corporate controller at Cerulean Technologies Inc., a private software product company, from 1996 to 2000 prior to its sale to Aether Systems Inc., where he served as division controller of Aether Mobile Government from 2000 to 2001.

Mr. Speicher holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Scranton.
