Individual will work with a dynamic hardware team working with cutting edge technologies and be exposed  to the latest design tools and lab equipment.  Candidates will be exposed to several areas of digital hardware design engineering in the areas of module design and verification and will conclude their experience with a firm understanding of a career in digital hardware design. 

Qualifications: Qualifications: minimum of 2 years towards a BS in EE or ECE. Responsibilities: Responsibilities:The SSI group is mercury's fastest growing business area. We provide our customers with deep domain expertise to help them solve their challenging embedded computing problems. This position in the SSI group would take direction from senior systems and integration engineers in order to help deliver on customer needs or to better enable the group to offer additional value to our customers at a lower cost point in the future. Responsibilities would include: development of test scripts, code and/or jigs. Execution of initial tests, contribution to an overall test framework, resolution of customer issues, documentation of test procedures, and other responsibilities as directed by senior staff. 

Qualifications: Qualifications:HS diploma, enrolled in a BS or MS degree awarding program. Preferably CS, EE, or ECE.
General knowledge of Linux OS and scripting in at least one language (e.g. bash, csh, tsch, tcl, expect, perl, and/or python).
Experience in programming in C and/or C++, familiarity with basic office applications. Responsibilities: Responsibilities:Learn what it takes to conceive, plan, develop, and deliver to market complex high performance multiprocessor embedded computers and software. As a project coordinator coop, you will assist project leaders and be mentored by them in developing our advanced technology product offerings. You may even manage small-scale projects of your own. As part of this position, you will be responsible for various administrative project-support functions, including assisting in: 1. Generating and tracking internal sales orders; 2. Generating weekly financial and labor reports
3. Generating metrics reports 4. Developing and/or organizing project documents and reports; 5. Maintaining records relating to project work. 6. Data collection and analysis on project status and estimate to complete 7. Customer-level testing of software products and system setup.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Assists in the following: Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of electronic components for inventory as well as non-inventory supplies and equipment. Unpack and inspect goods received against both inventory and non-inventory related purchase orders, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines while transacting in accounting system. Prepare production kits for assembly. Assist in RMA (Return Material Authorization) transactions, as needed. Other general office duties required including, but not limited to: scan travelers, shipping documentation, engineering documentation and then file electronically; prepare office supply list and keep track of stock, research proof of delivery on shipments, distribute mail, ensure kitchen is stocked properly, occasionally order lunches, etc.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities:This position will challenge the engineering student to develop diagnostic software using the C programming language and some assembly language. The process involves using product hardware specifications and schematics to identify, design and implement the necessary diagnostic test strategies for hardware design verification, manufacturing functional verification and power-on self-tests. This position requires excellent communication and inter-personal skills to facilitate close cross-functional working relationships with hardware designers, manufacturing test engineers, software engineers and mechanical engineers. The successful candidate will work closely with the hardware designers while developing the diagnostic solution as well as during product design verification testing. In addition, the candidate will work in conjunction with manufacturing test engineers to ensure the diagnostic solution is designed correctly for production testing and to help integrate it into the overall manufacturing test process. Other engineering functions may also rely on these diagnostic solutions such as mechanical engineering for thermal/vibration stress testing and software engineering for power-on self-testing.
In addition to providing an opportunity to learn fundamental diagnostic theory, this position also enables a student to experience very low-level software development while staying close to the hardware design through hands-on lab work supporting initial module bring-up and design verification.

Responsibilities: Assist mechanical Engineering staff in daily efforts. Tasks include simple design work, material procurement and assembly. Support Technicians in the lab with test set-up and measurement. Assemble engineering equipment and hardware. Manage databases and schedule tracking.  

Qualifications: Qualifications:Collegiate student. BSME candidate preferred. Must be familiar with Windows Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Additional Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with ME Cad tools with a preference for SolidWorks. Collegiate ME courses taken should include Heat Transfer, Material Science and Statics.
